Why do we give?
Giving, like many other spiritual disciplines, is an act of Worship. We give, not because we feel compelled, but because we feel grateful. Not as a burden, but as a joy.
God, through the prophet Malachi, actually issues a challenge to us. In essence God says, “I dare you to try to out-give me!”
“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse…Test me in this says the Lord Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.” (Malachi 3: 10, NIV)
We give for the simple reason that God has commanded us to give. We give as an act of worship and as the means by which we live an active faith in helping and supporting Christian witness and mission.
We appreciate your willingness to worship God through your giving and to support the mission and the ministries of this church.
Ways to give:
· If you are a regular attender, we can provide you with offering envelopes.
· If you are an occasional attender, or just want to make an offering, please mail your offering, payable to UMC of Mt. Pleasant, directly to the church office at:

· If you prefer to give electronically, we can process your giving through our PayPal account.
